در این مقاله، گونههای Phradonoma muehlei sp. n. و P. pseudoamoenulum sp. n. از سختبالپوشان خانوادهی Dermestidae از ایران برای دنیای علم توصیف شده و با گونههای نزدیک به آنها مورد مقایسه قرار گرفته است. همچنین، کلید شناسایی گونههای ایرانی متعلق به Phradonoma nobile species group ارایه شده است.
